Badgey (Japanese: ダークバジャー Dākubajā) is a Normal/Dark type Pokemon. It is based off of the Badger. Badusk is the Badger Pokemon with a Pokedex number of 017. It is a Dark/Normal type and has a 50% chance of being either gender. It is Badgey's only evolution. It is 5 feet 7 inches in height and weighs 175 pounds. Its ability is Dark Aura. It has a 4x weakness to fighting and a 2x weakness bug and fairy. Its egg groups are Field and Monster. Possible moves are Tackle, Feint Attack, Shadow Ball, Fury Swipes, Assurance, Darkest Lariat, Crunch, and Dragon Rage.

Due to its similar appearance, height, and weight to Typhlosion, it was thought Badusk was the mutation of Typhlosion. However, it was found that it is not Typhlosion, but very closely related.
